Join the Freed Black Girl Community

Dear listeners,

Welcome to the Freed Black Girl Podcast! I'm Najmah Ahmad, your host and the founder & CEO of the Chisholm Group, an organization committed to economic justice through education, workforce opportunity, and entrepreneurship.

For over 17 years, I've been immersed in the realms of education, strategy, and human development at the local, state, and national levels. My expertise includes earning a Bachelor’s degree in Sociology/ Gender & Diversity Studies, and a Master’s degree in Higher Education/Student Affairs. Currently, I'm being certified in Somatic Healing and Advanced Somatic Practices, further enriching my understanding of holistic well-being and mind body connection; beyond my own 5 and a half year healing journey with a licensed somatic therapist.

Above the credentials, my passion lies in supporting others on their paths to healing & self-liberation. As a coach, I guide Black women and women of color through their entrepreneurial journeys, breaking down internal and external barriers to joy and abundance.

This dedication to collective healing and empowerment is what led me to create the Freed Black Girl Podcast. As we heal, the world heals, and this podcast facilitates that through authentic storytelling, expert insights, and vulnerable conversations. This platform serves as a beacon of empowerment for Black women and individuals navigating their own journeys. Each episode is crafted to offer practical tools and inspiring narratives, guiding listeners towards evolution and liberation.

I'm thrilled to embark on this journey with you to our collective freedom, because as Fannie Lou Hamer said, “Nobody’s free, until everybody’s free”.

I hope you find inspiration, empowerment, and healing within these episodes and this community.

Let’s get free, y’all! With gratitude,

Najmah
